Liverpool may have to hurry if they want to sign Daniel Carr from non league Dulwich Hamlets as Chelsea are also interested.
The teenager, who has netted 23 goals in 23 games for Dulwich, has already had a trial with Liverpool for a week and they are set to hand him another chance on Monday to prove his worth.
The 18-year-old will play against West Ham for the Reds youngsters on Monday, no doubt with boss Brendan Rodgers in attendance, and if he impresses then he maybe offered professional terms.
Liverpool are not alone, though, as Chelsea have already declared an interest, although the Reds appear to be at the head of the queue.
