Liverpool have been linked with a £20million move for Southampton playmaker Adam Lallana.
Brendan Rodgers has indicated he is looking to significantly strengthen his squad in the summer after securing a place in next season's Champions League and reports suggest the Reds boss has set his sights on Lallana.
Southampton have stressed they are not seeking to sell Lallana, who is expected to be included in the England World Cup squad, but Liverpool hope a bid of £20m will be enough to convince them to cash in on the 25-year-old.
Liverpool could face competition for the midfielder however, as Premier League rivals Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the past.
