Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is understood to be getting ready to land another Bundesliga youngster at Anfield. Reports in the Metro have revealed that the Reds are contemplating tabling an £8m bid for Schalke 04 youngster Max Meyer.
It is also reported that the Royal Blues will also be entitled to a certain percentage of the player's transfer fee, should the Merseysiders decide to sell him in the future. Additionally, if Meyer helps the club win any trophies, Schalke will receive bonuses too.
The 18 year-old, who has impressed one and all with his performances for his club in the German top tier, was also believed to be on the transfer wishlist of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho last season.
