Liverpool are believed to be watching Fulham forward Moussa Dembele with a view to a summer transfer.
The versatile Cottagers forward has impressed both pundits and football fans alike since his move to the Premier League, and Fulham have recently been playing some of the most exciting football in the English top flight.
Martin Jol deserves great credit for his deployment of Dembele almost in a free role feeding the likes of Clint Dempsey, Andy Johnson and Pavel Pogrebnyak up front. It has resulted in an impressively high goal tally, with the high point perhaps being the team's 5-0 annihilation of Wolves.
Kenny Dalglish is thought to be looking at how he can use the Belgian to get the best out of his own team.
Dalglish is looking to what made Suarez such a potent force at Ajax, and that was playing on the right hand side of a front three.
Carroll would likely lead the attack, with Dembele coming in from the left. Jose Enrique would then be encouraged to push forward much more often in order to maintain the side's width, with Lucas Leiva covering at the back to provide a spare man where required.
