Rumours: Reds reportedly seal defender deal
The Daily Mirror are reporting that Liverpool will announce the signing of Hull defender Andrew Robertson when the transfer window opens.
Jurgen Klopp is on the lookout for a left-back, with Ryan Sessegnon his top target to compete with James Milner for the position next season.
But the Mirror say that the Reds have won the race to sign the 23-year-old left-back, who has long been linked with a move to Anfield.
Robertson has just one year remaining on his current contract with the relegated Tigers, and the Mirror report that the reds are also keeping tabs on defender Harry Maguire.
Klopp wants to add the ambitious signing of Virgil Van Dijk to his squad this summer. The Dutchman is a priority target for the Reds boss.
