Liverpool are looking increasingly likely to miss out on Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac.

The 23-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has a whole host of top clubs reportedly interested in snapping him up.

Chelsea, who lead the way in the Premier League, are also said to lead the way in the race to sign the Bosnian, with Everton and Man City also named as potential suitors.

Jurgen Klopp's knowledge of the Bundesliga saw him marked down as another interested party, but Chelsea are said to be increasingly confident of tying up a deal for the full-back.

Kolasinac would represent a bargain, but Liverpool continue to be linked with French left-back Theo Hernandez, who has enjoyed an impressive season for Alaves in La Liga.

Hernandez is on loan from Atletico Madrid, but a £20m release clause in his contract could see him move on in the summer.
