Liverpool have won the race to sign Fulham teen sensation Ryan Sessegnon, according to reports.

Sessegnon, 16, burst onto the scene for Fulham this season, having scored six goals in 23 appearances so far for the Championship outfit.

And his talents have been spotted with top Premier League sides Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all interested in the left-back.

However, football.london claim Liverpool have beaten their rivals to his signature and he will be on his way to Anfield this summer.

It is claimed the Reds are confident that they have landed the defender, who scored twice last weekend in Fulham's shock 3-1 win over Newcastle at St James' Park.

Jurgen Klopp is keen to overhaul his squad in the summer and has pinpointed the left-back position as a key area for improvement.

However, it appears as if Klopp has found the young talent he is looking for with Sessegnon set to sign on the dotted line when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
