Bordeaux striker Malcom insists he’s not held talks with either Liverpool or Manchester United despite interest from the Premier League clubs.

The Brazilian forward joined Bordeaux from Corinthians in a £5m deal last January and has six goals in 30 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.

Speculation in Malcom’s native Brazil linked the forward to both Liverpool and Manchester United this week after his impressive performances this term.

However, the 19-year-old insists he knows nothing about the interest and wants to focus on life in France.

"This thing about Liverpool [and] Manchester – I don’t know anything about it," said Malcom.

"I’m very calm, I only think about Bordeaux today. I want to do my job well and give French fans lots of joy."

"I got to know that [Sevilla coach Jorge] Sampaoli likes my football, my game style. If the opportunity shows up, I’ll be happy. If it doesn’t, I’ll keep working hard, humble as always."
