Borussia Dortmund have warned Liverpool that they have no chance of signing Christian Pulisic.

Jurgen Klopp’s side had an £11 million bid for the 18-year-old rejected in the closing stages of the summer transfer window, and have been tipped to make another offer in January.

But Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc insists Liverpool shouldn’t even bother bidding for the winger.

"It’s not worth the effort for Liverpool," Zorc told Bild.

Liverpool are reportedly in the market for attacking reinforcements in the upcoming window following Philippe Coutinho’s ankle injury, which has ruled the Brazilian out for around five to six weeks.

Klopp will also lose Sadio Mane in January as he will be part of Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
