Liverpool will renew their interest in Christian Pulisic next summer, according to reports.

The Reds were heavily linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder during the transfer window but a move never materialised.

Reports suggested a bid of around £11m was made but the German outfit swiftly rejected the offer.

But according to Bleacher Report, Liverpool will test Dortmund's resolve once more by chasing him again next summer.

Dortmund are keen to keep hold of the 17-year-old though and are hopeful of tying him down to a new deal with his current contract running until 2018.

Pulisic has history with Klopp having signed for the German club's academy during Klopp's spell in charge and was then promoted to the first team.

The American made his first appearance of the season for Dortmund on Wednesday night as they defeated Legia Warsaw 6-0 in the Champions League.

Pulisic will hope to continue to be given chances under Thomas Tuchel this term, but Klopp doesn't look set to back down in his plans to reunite with the versatile winger anytime soon.
