Liverpool have reportedly joined the race for Charlton forward Ademola Lookman.

The 18-year-old striker has been in fine form for the Addicks this season in an overall disappointing campaign, scoring five goals.

Lookman has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months and was said to be closing in on a deal.

Chelsea and Tottenham have also expressed an interest in the highly-rated youngster.

But according to The Mirror, Liverpool are keen to bring Lookman to Anfield.

Lookman is under contract at The Valley until 2020, but with Charlton relegated into League One next term, they face a tough task on their hands to keep hold of him.

And Liverpool are leading the way to sign the £6million-rated forward.

The Reds have raided Charlton in the past having signed Joe Gomez last summer for £3.5m.
