Liverpool will miss out on the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu with Torino taking him on loan this week.

Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp could have made a move for the Italian keeper, who lost his place in the starting XI at the Ligue 1 side this season.

The 29-year-old wants to play regular first-team football in the build-up to Euro 2016 and Torino can offer him that.

What the Italian club cannot offer is to pay all of his wages so the Qatari-backed French side has agreed to pay the lion's share of his pay packet to allow him to leave.
