Alonso could seal Liverpool return
Xabi Alonso is likely to complete a move to Liverpool as he prepares to leave Bayern Munich, according to reports.
Alonso, who is considered a legendary figure at Anfield, is out of contract at Bayern at the end of the season.
And after reports that Liverpool could be keen on his services, German newspaper Bild Liverpool are likely to be Alonso’s next destination.
The outlet says Bayern won’t be extending the 33-year-old’s contract, and Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp wants to bring him back.
