Yossi 'very happy' at Anfield

Yossi Benayoun's agent insists the Israel international is 'very happy' at Liverpool - and poured scorn on the idea his client would be interested in a move to Man City.

The 29-year-old, who signed a two-year extension to his contract with the Reds in July, has been in mercurial form since the turn of the year - prompting reported interest from down the M62.

"Naturally a player playing well at Liverpool will always have other teams interested in him," said Benayoun's agent, Ronen Katsav.

"It is a great compliment that there is interest from high level teams across Europe, but Yossi is very happy at Liverpool and only in the summer agreed a new contract for another four seasons."
