Liverpool progressed to the Europa League last 32 earlier this month - and despite being seeded they could be paired with a top European side when the draw takes place today.
Here are the teams they could face: Atlético Madrid, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Stuttgart, Napoli, Basel, Inter Milan, Sparta Prague, Bayer Leverkusen, Levante, Zenit, BATE, Dynamo Kiev, Ajax.
Ties will take place on February 14 and 21.
Others notable teams still in the competition include Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle, Lyon, Lazio, Fenerbahce, Olympiacos and Benfica.
The draw for the last 16 also takes place on December 20.
