Finnish starlet Dalla Valle netted the opener with a header form a corner, and Pacheco sealed the victory with a superb individual goal.

John McMahon's side had to work hard for their victory against a strong Wigan outfit, but with Daniel Ayala a rock at the back and Jay Spearing leading by example, the Reds have now reached their second final and their treble dreams are still alive.
