U18s win Bury thriller

Liverpool U18s hit eight goals for the second week running as they won a 12 goal thriller, 8-4 against Bury on Saturday morning.

Both teams deserve credit for producing such a brilliant match for a pre-season friendly in the Kirkby sunshine, and there were some fantastic goals scored by both teams.

Jerome Sinclair hit two for the Reds, making it five goals in two pre-season games so far, while also on the scoresheet were Danny Smith, Jack Dunn penalty, Henoc Mukendi, Ryan Kent, Bosnian youngster Armin Hodzic and a trialist was also on the mark.
