Jamie Carragher believes Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez's strike partnership is as potent as any in the Barclays Premier League at the moment.
Both were on the scoresheet as Swansea were emphatically swept aside at Anfield on Sunday.
On 56 minutes Suarez weaved between white shirts and curled beyond Michel Vorm before Sturridge swept home from the spot to seal the rout with 20 minutes remaining.
After the game, Carragher told BBC Sport: "It shows the attacking options that we have.
"Since Sturridge has come in, he has made a big difference for us. Unfortunately he's unavailable for Europe and that's a bit of a blow.
"But at the moment, he and Luis up front look as dangerous as anything in the league. We hope that goes well for the future."
Five different names were added to the scoresheet as the Reds hit five for the fourth time in all competitions this season.
Steven Gerrard broke the deadlock, Coutinho notched on his full debut and Jose Enrique capped one of the moves of the season to make it 3-0 before Sturridge and Suarez took centre stage.
"Having five different scorers gives the lads great confidence," insisted Carragher.
"Over the last couple of years, we've only really had Luis or Steven Gerrard scoring the goals, so it's certainly nice to spread them round the team.
"It was a good result for us. We had a job to do and we did it."
