Liverpool youngster Ryan McLaughlin has been forced to pull out of the Northern Ireland squad due to injury.

The Academy right-back, who made his first-team debut against Roma at Fenway Park during the pre-season, was called up to the senior squad for the first time for the friendly with Finland.

Speaking on his personal Twitter, McLaughlin wrote: "I've had to pull out of the Northern Ireland squad due to an injury! Have to focus on getting back fit again."
