Steven Gerrard moved level with the highest assist-makers in the Barclays Premier League on Sunday, increasing his number for the season to nine and matching his previous best for one campaign.
The Reds captain joined Juan Mata of Chelsea and Arsenal's Lukas Podolski at the top of that list, while extending his goals tally to six with his stunning effort against Manchester City.
Gerrard also sits third on the ranking for key passes, with 65, one place behind Liverpool teammate Luis Suarez - who has registered 67 to date this season.
Suarez remains locked in a battle with Robin van Persie for the top scorer accolade for 2012-13, currently trailing the Dutchman by 18 to 17.
