As Liverpool Football Club prepares to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bill Shankly's Anfield arrival, we want to hear from the people our legendary boss cherished the most - YOU!
Fans' memories and tales of the great man have entered footballing folklore and during one extra special week in December, LFC TV and Liverpoolfc.tv will be paying tribute to arguably the most important figure in our illustrious history.
But a week of Shankly celebrations wouldn't be anywhere near complete without hearing from some of the many supporters who had the privilege of meeting the great man during his time in the Anfield hot-seat.
Did you meet Shankly? Did your dad or granddad meet or even count Liverpool's greatest ever manager as a friend? Do you know someone who met him? Do you have a story to tell?
Perhaps he got you tickets for a game? Maybe he invited you to watch training at Melwood? Did you meet him in the street and end up talking football for ages? Did he invite you into his house for a cup of tea or challenge you and your mates to a kick-about in the park?
Whatever memories you have of your time in Shanks' company, we'd love to hear them.
The Bill Shankly statue outside the world famous Spion Kop proudly boasts: "He made the people happy" - but we want to know why that was the case.
If you have a story to tell then we'd love you to share it with us.
Please email shankly@liverpoolfc.tv with details of your story AND a contact telephone number and we'll be in touch soon to arrange to involve you and your story in our celebration for Bill Shankly Week.
If you know someone who met Bill Shankly and has a story to tell but doesn't have access to email or the internet, please pass on this request and ask them to telephone Jake Hargreaves on 0151 293 8785. If there's no answer, please leave a message with your contact details and Jake will ring you back.
