Liverpool Football Club is pleased to announce the results of the first stage of the Season Ticket waiting list project.

We wrote to the first 25,000 on the 70,000+ waiting list in April inviting them to confirm their interest. From that initial 25,000, we are now able to offer those that confirmed their interest, the ability to check their actual position online.

As announced yesterday, the Club plans to issue 2,000 new Season Tickets this coming season. Those fans who are now eligible for a Season Ticket will be contacted via email or telephone in the next week with details on how to buy their new Season Ticket.

As new Season Tickets are issued those supporters on the online look up system will begin to see their position change. We anticipate a small number of people will not take up their offer so this may result in people further down the list being offered a Season Ticket.

Seats for the new Season Tickets will be predominantly situated in the Paddock and Centenary Stands with limited availability on the Kop.

Unfortunately this year we will not be able to offer these new Season Ticket holders a finance option for this season but intend to offer the service from next summer.

We would like to thank supporters for their patience during this process and we are looking forward to welcoming our new Season Ticket holders this summer. The Club will be contacting the remaining 50,000 supporters on the old season ticket waiting list with an update later in the summer.
