Concern is growing for Liverpool fan 20-year-old Steve Cook who has been reported missing after disappearing while on holiday in Malia, Crete, a week ago.
Steve Cook, alias stevieboy2k, a regular poster on the Liverpool fansite YNWA.tv was reported missing by friends and family whilst on holiday in Malia, Crete.
He has not been seen or heard of since the first day of his holiday on September, 1st. His group of friends became friendly with another bunch of holidaymakers and it is believed that Steve went off with this new group.
The Liverpool university student was about to begin the third and final year of his degree but disappeared last Wednesday after a night out in Malia with friends.
His clothes, money, passport and plane tickets remained untouched in his hotel room.
His older brothers Chris and Tony are in Crete to help with the search and have met officials from the British Consulate.
Posters have been put up around the resort asking for any information and his family have since flown out in the hope of finding him. Tentative sightings and leads have so far been unsuccessful.
So if you know anyone in the resort of Malia or those adjacent could you please ask them to have a look out for Steve. He is 20 years old, has dark hair and is around five foot eight in height.
Anyone with information should call Cheshire police via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
