For a limited time only Liverpool FC is reducing the price of its popular Penalty Shootout game by over 50 per cent to just £0.69 ($0.99).

Available on iPhone and iPad, the feature allows fans to test their ability from 12 yards against an imaginary Pepe Reina in front of a virtual Kop End.

The game offers a classic shootout mode - during which the challenge is to get the better of the Spanish stopper by slotting from the spot to maintain three lives and stay in the game.

Fans can also test their speed as well as precision in the 'Time Attack' section or hone their accuracy by using 'Targets' to try and strike markers placed on the goal line as the clock ticks.
