Reds to face Lincoln or Mansfield in cup

Liverpool will face Lincoln City or Mansfield Town in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Reds will play away from home and the tie is scheduled to take place on the weekend of January 5/6 next year.

The two Blue Square Premier clubs played out a 3-3 draw at Sincil Bank on Saturday when Matt Rhead's dramatic equaliser earned Mansfield a replay.

The last time Liverpool played Lincoln was in 1961. The Reds last faced Mansfield in a League Cup second round tie in 1970.
