Jamie Redknapp thinks Glen Johnson has proved this season that he is the best right-back in the Barclays Premier League.
The former Reds midfielder watched Johnson open the scoring in the 3-2 victory over West Ham on Sunday and as well as being impressed with the full-back's performance, he reckons his old club are now in a position to push for a top four slot.
"Glen Johnson proved again why he is the best right-back in the country with his display of overlapping power-play and a stunning goal at West Ham," Redknapp wrote in his Daily Mail column.
"Liverpool's next Premier League matches are against Villa and Fulham and they are showing no signs of form.
"Fourth place is up for grabs this season."
