The Liverpool FC family got a little bit bigger on Tuesday as the Qatar Reds were confirmed as an official LFC supporters club.

There are more than 200 official supporters clubs around the world who come together to share their passion for the Reds, and that number has now increased.
Liverpool's U18s are currently in Qatar competing in the Al Kass International Cup, with Steve Cooper's side ensuring progress to the quarter-finals yesterday.
Academy director Frank McParland commented on the news: "No matter where we go in the world we always come across Liverpool supporters and that's a really great feeling for me and the lads.
"Today we gave the Qatar Reds their official supporters' club status, welcoming them into the LFC family."
Liverpool supporters in the region can keep up-to-date with all club news by following the Reds' Arabic Twitter account - @LFC_Arabic.
