Six weeks after undergoing an operation on his anterior cruciate ligament, Lucas Leiva was back at Melwood this morning as he continues his road towards full fitness.

The Reds' midfielder has been taking the first steps on his rehabilitation programme back home in Brazil over recent weeks, but he returned to Melwood today and was given a warm welcome by staff and teammates alike.
