Despite the disappointment of defeat at the hands of Tottenham, the Anfield crowd stayed behind long after the final whistle to greet the players on their traditional end of season lap of honour.
Joined by their children, Kenny Dalglish, his staff and the players took in the applause of all four sides of Anfield as the fans saluted the efforts of their heroes over recent months.
