Lucas Leiva was on hand to help the LFC Foundation launch its new Football 4 All centre in the Wirral.
The programme follows the success of the club's flagship initiative in Aigburth and will seek to provide sporting opportunities for children with severe disabilities.
Based at Woodchurch High School, the centre works with 35 children, aged between eight and 16, and is funded by the Premier League Community Fund, People's Postcode Trust and Field of Dreams.
"Today has been great," Lucas told Liverpoolfc.com. "Seeing the smiles on the kids' faces has been fantastic and it's been a real opportunity to highlight the great work being done by the LFC Foundation.
"It's very important for players to come and give something back to the community."
