After six days of waiting we'll finally get the chance to see Fernando Torres in World Cup action today as Spain kick off their campaign against Switzerland.

The current European champions will play the final game in the first round of group matches when they will be looking to cement their status as one of the pre-tournament favourites with an opening day victory.

Since arriving at their World Cup base, Torres and Anfield teammate Pepe Reina have been completing their final preparations ahead of their first fixture - and here's a selection of snaps of our Anfield boys in South Africa.
