Liverpool's record sponsorship agreement with Standard Chartered sparked scenes of jubilation in the leading bank's branches across the globe.

It was announced earlier this week that Standard Chartered had signed a four-year deal to become Liverpool Football Club's main sponsors from the start of next season - and while this exciting new partnership was being officially announced on Mersyside, press conferences were also taking place around the world to reveal details of the best deal of its kind in football.

This is how the news was greeted by some of Standard's Chartered 70,000 staff in their own countries.
