Daniel Pacheco has been named as Liverpool Reserves' Player of the Season following a fans' vote on this website.
The Spanish sensation amassed an incredible 61 per cent of the thousands of votes cast to scoop the accolade, seeing off competition from the likes of Daniel Ayala and Martin Kelly.
Pacheco began the season in John McMahon's Reserve team - but his dazzling displays for the second-string saw him pushing for first-team action towards the tail end of 2009-10.
The 19-year-old netted stunning free-kicks against Burnley and Sunderland for McMahon's men, while the prodigy also scored a magnificently executed volley in a 3-3 draw with Manchester City.
Though predominantly a forward player, Pacheco's guile and vision saw him deployed in a central midfield role at times for the Reserves to great success.
His long-awaited senior bow came in a December Champions League clash with Fiorentina at Anfield, in which he endeared himself to the Kop by attempting a shot at goal with virtually his first touch.
In February, another productive cameo appearance saw Pacheco provide the assist for David Ngog's winner in a tense Europa League contest with Unirea.
Further substitute run outs came against Fulham, Burnley, Atletico Madrid and Hull City as the Malaga-born teenager came of age.
Ayala secured second place in the vote with 12 per cent, while fellow defender Kelly was third with nine per cent - both also figured for the first team during the course of the campaign.
