Ngoo and Sterling down Stoke

Michael Ngoo struck a superb double as Liverpool under-18s eased to a 3-0 win at Stoke City on Monday afternoon.

The towering forward opened the scoring with a first-half solo effort before taking advantage of a defensive mix-up in the Potters defence to convert Tom Ince's pass after the interval.

Substitute Raheem Sterling put the seal on the win with a third 10 minutes from time, following up the rebound after his spot-kick was well saved.

Liverpool under-18s: Oldfield, Flanagan, Wisdom, Sama, Robinson, Roberts (Roddan 39), Coady, Silva (Sterling 80), Ince, Adorjan, Ngoo. Unused subs: Chamberlain, Emilsson, McGiveron.
