Liverpool's U18s continued their Al Kass International Cup campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid in Qatar.
The Reds will now complete their tournament with a seventh-place play-off against either Aspire International or Aspire Qatar, which will be played on Tuesday, February 5 at 4.30pm local time (1.30pm GMT).
Daniel Trickett-Smith struck the first-half goal for the Reds shortly before the half-time break.
Narvaez Solarte brought the Spanish side - coached by ex-Liverpool striker Fernando Morientes - level in the second half after an incisive attack.
And Real took the lead in the 82nd minute when Mario Canseco converted an accurate header.
