Reds fans can watch the second edition of our brand new Player of the Month programme on LFC TV later on Monday – featuring all of the details on January's winner.

January may have included FA Cup elimination and a defeat at Old Trafford, but the first month of 2013 also featured two handsome home victories and a creditable draw at Arsenal.

New signing Daniel Sturridge found the target three times in January after joining the club, while top goalscorer Luis Suarez was on the scoresheet on six occasions.

But it was captain Steven Gerrard who topped the fans' vote and took the honours for January, during which the midfielder maintained his record of playing every minute in the Barclays Premier League this season.

Claire Rourke conducted an interview with the Standard Chartered Player of the Month after handing over his award and presents our special show too.

The programme will air first at 4.30pm GMT on Monday and will be repeated at 10.30pm tonight and later in the week.

LFC TV is available free on Sky channel 429 and Virgin Media channel 544 (as part of the XL pack).
