Liverpool U19s have been drawn against Borussia Dortmund, Rosenborg BK and reigning champions Inter Milan in the group stage of this year's NextGen Series.
The young Reds, who lost to Ajax in the semi-finals last season, will have to up their game yet further this time around after a host of other top clubs from across the continent signed up to the Champions League-style tournament.
Arsenal, Juventus, Chelsea and PSG are among the new participants joining the likes of Barcelona, Ajax and ourselves.
The six groups for the NextGen Series 2012-13 are:
Group One: Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, Olympiacos, Vfl Wolfsburg.
Group Two: Manchester City, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Fenerbahce.
Group Three: Chelsea, Ajax, CSKA Moscow, Molde FK.
Group Four: Arsenal, Athletico Bilbao, Olympique de Marseille, RSC Anderlecht.
Group Five: Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Internazionale, Rosenborg BK.
Group Six: Sporting Clube de Portugal, Celtic, Aston Villa, PSV Eindhoven.
