The Spaniard created Suarez's goal during the Reds' action-packed victory over Tottenham on Sunday, his fourth assist in the Barclays Premier League this season.
Enrique has excelled in tandem with our No.7 throughout the 2012-13 campaign, marauding forward from his left-back berth. It's a combination the defender is thoroughly enjoying.
"It's really easy to understand Luis," said the 27-year-old.
"When I have the ball he's the first person I look for on the pitch. He is our best player and he can do something from nothing.
"It's like at Barcelona, the first player they look for when the game is in a bad situation is Messi because they know he can do something.
"Luis is the same, I look for him because I know he can do something different.
"He always makes a movement and I try to put the ball there and hope he can do the rest. That chance against Tottenham was really difficult but he put it away.
"In training we don't normally play in a space as big as the pitch but of course if you are good players you understand each other.
"When I was at Villarreal it was the same with Forlan - we linked up really well. It's the same with Luis, who is such an amazing player."
Reflecting on Sunday's dramatic triumph against third-placed Tottenham, Enrique revealed how Brendan Rodgers' tactics played a key role in gaining three points.
He added: "This is a different manager with a different style of play. The style suits me and we are getting better as a team.
"Tactically, we are improving a lot. Working and pressing as a team means it is so difficult for the opposition to keep the ball properly. We did that against Spurs and our second goal came from that - good pressure forced the mistake.
"The team worked very hard and that is the important thing because when the team stick together you can see the results. The character from the team was really good."
With nine games remaining, the Reds are now within seven points of a Champions League position - and Enrique believes his teammates could still achieve the goal.
"It is difficult but we still have a lot of games to play and if we win all of them we'll have a big chance," said the full-back.
"Sunday was the best comeback we've had this season and the first game we've won against a team in the top six. That's a great boost for us and we will give everything for the rest of the season."
