Jose Enrique today spoke of his delight at being voted the Standard Chartered Player of the Month for November by Liverpool fans - watch our FREE interview below.
After an outstanding month, the Spaniard collected 45 per cent of the vote in a poll held on this website to see off competition from Luis Suarez (33 per cent) and Daniel Agger (seven per cent).
Enrique made six appearances for Liverpool in November and fired his first goal for the club against Wigan Athletic.
The 26-year-old operated in both his traditional full-back role as well as in a left-wing berth to devastating effect.
Upon being presented with the award at Melwood, Enrique told Liverpoolfc.com: "I feel good - it is the first time I have won the award at the club and it is a pleasure. I hope I can continue my form.
"It was okay [playing in midfield]. I feel comfortable there, although I prefer to play as a left-back as it is my position. But if I have to play there again, it is not a problem.
"I have always been an attacking full-back, so the new position is just more attacking than defending, so I feel good there.
"I want to say thank you very much to the supporters who voted for me. I hope I can continue to play like this and try to help the team as much as I can."

Enrique marked his first goal for the club by sucking his thumb in celebration as he dedicated the strike to his unborn baby boy, Adrian.
He added: "It was an amazing feeling to get my first goal. There are just two/three weeks left until he is born then we will have him here and I can't wait for that."
