Highdale helps young Lions to Shield success

Liverpool starlet Sean Highdale is celebrating after helping England under-16s to Victory Shield success over Scotland at Glandford Park, Scunthorpe, last night.

Highdale, 15, was an impressive performer as Kenny Swain's young Lion's came from behind to clinch the Shield with a 2-1 win over the 'auld enemy'.

Fellow Academy youngster James Ellison came on as a late substitute to win his first cap at this level.
