Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman led a Standard Chartered coaching event in Malaysia last week.
Our main club sponsor organised the sessions to coincide with its sponsorship of the EPL Masters Football Cup Malaysia 2011.
About 50 children aged between seven and 16 were invited to attend the football clinic at Padang@One, Utama to learn the basics of the game.

Fowler said: "The children have been really enthusiastic and very receptive. They are really good, and I was really impressed by their technical skills."
The young footballers were the children of Standard Chartered staff and clients.
Norliza Kamaruddin from Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia added: "This is a great opportunity to bring the spirit of Liverpool FC and our sponsorship of the club to a group of kids.

"It's at the very core of the way we do business to give something back to the community."
Participants received the official Standard Chartered-Liverpool FC football jerseys and tumblers as well as cards signed by the legends.
