Dani Pacheco scored twice as Liverpool U21s produced a magnificent display to beat Wolves 5-1 at Molineux on Monday night.
Trailing to a goal from Liam McAlinden three minutes before half-time, Rodolfo Borrell's charges were inspired after the interval and played some outstanding football.
Pacheco blasted home an unstoppable equaliser and then second-half substitute Joao Carlos Teixeira turned provider with an assist for Krisztian Adorjan to make it 2-1.
Pacheco was in dazzling form and it was no surprise when he made it 3-1 after intercepting a back-pass, rounding the goalkeeper and slotting home.
Teixeira then scored his first goal in a red shirt after great play from Pacheco before Michael Ngoo made it 5-1 with a close-range finish after being set up by Jordon Ibe.
Borrell's side remain the only unbeaten U21 side in the country.
The Liverpool team in full: Ward, McLaughlin, Smith, Sama, Wilson, Roddan (Nacho 78), Ngoo, Pelosi, Yesil (Teixeira 45), Adorjan (Ibe 75), Pacheco.
