They are the nights that helped give Liverpool fans a reputation as the best supporters in the world - and today #EuroNightsAtAnfield trended on Twitter after @LFC posted some classic images.

The hashtag trended in the UK on Wednesday afternoon ahead of what promises to be a special night at Anfield as the Reds look to overturn a 2-0 deficit against Zenit on Thursday.

Winning the uefa cup wudnt only be fantastic it wud show are summer targets were on the way back to the top and it wud be 2 years on the run winning sum silverware not bad 4 a team having its worst team in decades
