Cup woe for Assaidi

There was frustration for Oussama Assaidi as Morocco were knocked out of the Africa Cup of Nations by South Africa on Sunday.

The Liverpool winger was an unused substitute.

Knowing a victory would take them through, Morocco twice led but an equaliser four minutes from time proved costly.

Cape Verde beat Angola 2-1 to seal their place ahead of Morocco in the quarter-finals.
