Oussama Assaidi's Morocco left it late to salvage a point as they drew 1-1 with Cape Verde in the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday evening.
The Liverpool winger played for 54 minutes as his country came from a goal down to level late on in Durban.
The result leaves Morocco in third place in Group A, level on two points with Cape Verde.
The Lions of the Atlas face hosts South Africa in the final round of group games on Sunday evening.
