Teenage Liverpool fan Hollie Cavanagh is hoping a message from Jamie Carragher and co will help her progress to the final six on American Idol.
The 'good luck' message - recorded by LFC TV - was broadcast to Liverpool-born Hollie live in front of around 20 million viewers on Wednesday night.
Her performances of 'Rolling in the Deep' and 'Son of a Preacher Man' won praise from judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, and Hollie is now in contention to win what is often the most watched show on US television.
The 18-year-old, who attended St Austin's Primary School in Aigburth, moved with her family from Allerton to Texas 10 years ago.
Her participation on Idol meant she missed the Carling Cup final - though parents Lorraine and Peter did get to Wembley.
Hollie will discover tonight whether the message of support helped her reach the final six.
