Liverpool supporters can test their golf skills against other fans from around the world at a special tournament in 2013 – and it's all in the name of raising money for charity.
The Official LFC Supporters' Club Golf Cup, which will take place from May 23-27 next year, has been arranged to aid the Liverpool FC Foundation.
Jamie Carragher's 23 Foundation, the Steven Gerrard Foundation and Create for Children will also benefit from the event, to be held at the La Finca Golf & Spa Resort Hotel in Spain.
For an entry price of £395 per person, participants are treated to four nights of accommodation, three rounds of golf and attendance at a gala dinner with a Liverpool legend.
A deposit of £40 is required to book a place at the competition, and a minimum handicap of 26 is necessary for any supporter wishing to play.
Entrants will be grouped in teams of four and single players are welcome, as the journey to find the greatest golfer among Liverpool fans kicks off.
The Costa Blanca branch of the Official LFC Supporters' Club is hosting the tournament, and information can be provided by chairman Bill Connerty via telephone (0034 609619419) or email (bill.connerty@gmail.com).
Places can also be booked by calling Your Golf Travel on +44 020 7336 5349.
