Daniel Agger's no-nonsense tackling and graceful ability to carry the ball out from the back has made him a firm Kop favourite since his arrival in 2006.

The Dane showcased his continued commitment to the Liverpool cause by signing a new contract and having 'YNWA' tattooed across his knuckles at the start of this season.

And against Zenit St Petersburg at Anfield last Thursday, he made a landmark 200th appearance for the club.

In seven years, the centre-half has won the FA Cup, the League Cup and scored a handful of memorable goals, including a crucial Champions League semi-final strike against Chelsea in 2007.

You omitted his gesture of friendship when Torres first faced Liverpool as a Chelski player. A perfect gentleman, he was.
