Summer signing Divock Origi has followed many of his new Liverpool teammates by today taking on the ice bucket challenge to raise funds and awareness for ALS/MND charities.
The Belgium international completed a transfer to the Reds from Lille last month but will remain on loan with the French club for the duration of the 2014-15 season.
After featuring in Ligue 1 last night, the striker shared his attempt at the charitable feat - which has grabbed worldwide attention this week - and posted the video below on Instagram.
The concept of the challenge is straightforward - participants must record themselves having a bucket of freezing water poured over their head and subsequently donate to a chosen ALS/MND charity.
Upon completion, friends can then be nominated to carry out the same task within 24 hours or contribute a larger sum of money to a good cause.
Daniel Sturridge kick-started the efforts at Liverpool on Monday, prompting Philippe Coutinho, Steven Gerrard, Lucas Leiva, Brendan Rodgers, Martin Skrtel and many more from the club to do the same.
Spanish defender Javier Manquillo was the next in line, with a little help from compatriot Alberto Moreno at Melwood, and uploaded his version in the YouTube clip below.
