Opta statistics from the Reds' 2-2 draw with Newcastle United on Saturday show how Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was a non-stop creative force for the visitors.
The skipper bagged a first equaliser against the Magpies from the penalty spot shortly before half-time - his 100th goal for the club in the Barclays Premier League.
Gerrard took more touches on the ball than any other player on the pitch - 120 - and attempted 99 passes throughout the 90 minutes.
An impressive 90.9 per cent of the midfielder's distribution was accurate; the highest of any Liverpool teammate in his area of the pitch.
The No.8 also delivered eight crosses at St James' Park, 62.5 per cent of which found a colleague, and created six shooting opportunities for his side.
For good measure, Gerrard was effective in a defensive sense too; he won all four of the tackles he entered and completed three clearances.
